With May here, summer is right around the corner. Soon school will be out, and the hot sunny days of lying on a beach or by the pool will be at hand. What better way to cool down on those days than with an ice-cold drink. Here is a list of cool, sweet beverages that will help kickstart your summer!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 ½ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ cup water
  • ⅔ cup sugar

Instructions: 

  1. Place frozen strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar into a blender. Blend until smooth. If the blender is getting stuck, try adding some of the water. 
  2. Taste and adjust the lemon juice or sugar to your preference.
  3. Enjoy!

This is a really creamy limeade that is sweet and tangy! The secret ingredient that will have you refilling your glass is sweetened condensed milk! This recipe is brought to you by Amber Brady.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 juicy limes (thin, smooth skins are juiciest)
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • Ice

Instructions: 

  1. Mix cold water and sugar. Place in the fridge until ready to use. 
  2. Wash limes and cut-off ends. Then cut limes into eighths (cut limes in ½, then cut them in ½ again).
  3.  Place half of the limes and half of the water/sugar mixture in a blender. Pulse 5x. Strain into a pitcher and dump the pulp. Repeat with the rest of the limes and water/sugar mixture. 
  4. Add ice and condensed milk, stir, serve, and enjoy!

Ingredients: 

  • Lime Wedge
  • Coarse sugar
  • 6 oz Frozen limeade concentrate
  • ¾ cup orange juice
  • ⅔ cup unsweetened grapefruit juice
  • 4 cups ice

Instructions:

  1. Place frozen limeade concentrate, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until it’s slushy.
  2. Rub the lime wedge on the outside rim of your glasses. Then dip the glass rims into the coarse sugar. 
  3. Pour and serve!

  • 1 tbsp Torani Raspberry Syrup (can be found in stores or online)
  • ½ cup Club Soda

  1. Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Then pour 1 tablespoon Torani Vanilla Syrup & 1 tablespoon Torani Raspberry Syrup into the glass.
  3. Next, add 1/2 cup of club soda & top with 1 tablespoon of half & half.
  4. You can garnish with fresh raspberries if you like.
  5. Enjoy!

What could be better than strawberry and mango? A Strawberry MAngo Daiquiri! This recipe is brought to you by Ruchi.

Ingredients:

For Strawberry Layer:

  • 2 cups Strawberries rinsed and trimmed
  • 1 tablespoons Lime juice
  • ½ cup Strawberry Juice or Sparkling water
  • 1 cup Ice

For Mango Layer:

  • 2 cups Mangoes rinsed and peeled
  • 1 tablespoons Lime juice
  • ½ cup Mango Juice or Sparkling water
  • 1 cup Ice

Instructions:

  1. For the strawberry layer, place all ingredients inside the blender and blend until smooth. Place all the liquid ingredients at the bottom of the blender. Transfer to another container and place in the fridge. 
  2. Repeat step 1 for the Mango layer. 
  3. Once both layers are blended you can begin adding them to the glass. Alternating the layers gives the glass a fun summer look!
