Materials

  • Multicolor Construction Paper

  • Glue

  • Marker

  • Googly eyes

  • Scissors

  • Pencil

  • Ruler (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Cut 6, one inch strips.

Step 2: Glue all the same color strips from edge to edge.

Step 3: Glue one end of the color strip to the other end of the 2nd color strip.

Step 4: Fold continuously, overlapping each color until no more.

 It should look like this:

Step 5: With your leftover paper, cut out a tongue and a head.

Step 6: Glue on the tongue and googly eyes.

Step 7: Draw on two dots for the nose.

Step 8: Glue the head on.

Step 9: The zig zag creates a “spring.” Play around with it and see how far the Snake will jump.
