Notary Services

The Charles County Public Library (CCPL) is proud to announce that we now have a licensed notary public at all 5 of our library branches (Mobile Library included) and will notarize documents FREE of charge. Our licensed professional notary public services are here to make life easier. Once your documents are notarized, we will help you make any necessary copies.

In order to be prepared, customers should bring a valid government-issued photo ID when they visit the Library branch. Some documents may require witnesses in addition to the notarization. Please be aware that library staff cannot act as witnesses. Be sure to call ahead to the branch you plan to visit for the availability of a notary and the times available to have documents notarized.
