Thank you for your interest in working at CCPL!

The Charles County Public Library consists of four library branches, as well as a Mobile Library and Outreach Van. We have a staff of more than 90, that includes full-time and part-time employees. Our branches house over 200,000 volumes of printed materials, audio books, films, and other documents. Currently, there are over 75,000 Charles County residents who have library cards and that number grows every day. CCPL is proud that our services are inclusive of all members of our diverse community. We support a diverse and inclusive environment for our staff and our customers and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. (See our Accessibility and Diversity Statements).

We are committed to hiring individuals who are passionate about public service, serving their community, and who lead by example, providing excellent internal and external customer service to all.
