Need to work on your computer skills? Unsure how to get help while many places are closed? Charles County Public Library can help with online tutorials!

You can learn on your own by using the Public Library Association site, DigitalLearn. DigitalLearn has self-paced courses that cover many basics as well as other important skills. 

You can access these tutorials at DigitalLearn or at the bottom of the CCPL @ HOME Adult blog page of the CCPL website.

Choose the “Adults” button

Scroll to the bottom of the page to see Adult Resources listed, underneath you will see PLA DigitalLearn listed beneath other resources. 

Some of the general topics covered in these tutorials include:

  • Personal 

  • Online Shopping

Specific skills covered are:

  • Navigating a Website 

  • Email

  • Windows

  • Microsoft Word

  • Creating a Resume

  • Purchasing an Airplane Ticket

The courses include a list of how many activities are part of the course,  as well as the level of the course and the time it will take to complete the course.

Once you complete a course, you will be able to download a Certificate of Completion! You can also visit any course you want, at any time, as a refresher.
