On Thursday, March 11th and Thursday, March 25th. Come down to the Waldorf Branch from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for Jazzy Yarns. All skill levels are welcome. Learn to crochet or knit or teach someone else how. Come join the fun as we learn from each other! No registration required.

Be our guest at a reception celebrating the 'The Heart of Maryland Libraries' on Friday, March 26, 9:30-11 a.m. at the Waldorf Branch. Karen Trennepohl, chairperson of the Maryland Library Association quilt project, will be on hand to discuss the making of the quilt and the specifics of the project. Bring your kids to the Waldorf Library to see Kathy Wells from the Southern Maryland Quilters Guild as she shows us quilts and reads stories about those quilts. While you're here, don't forget to stop by and see the "Heart of Maryland Libraries" quilt on display the week of March 22 - 26.

Stop by any branch location and guess how many jelly beans there are in the jar! Prizes will be awarded in three categories for the closest guess (without getting over): Pre-K to 5th grade; 6th to 12th grade; and adults 18 and up. Winners will be notified on April 19.
