Charles County Public Library and Citizens for the Charles County Public Library
Criteria for book donations

Materials must be in good condition

Paperback books must be in good and usable condition

We cannot use the following:

Magazines
Textbooks
Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
National Geographic Magazines
Encyclopedias older than 5 years
Books with mold or mildew
Records

Old unusable material may be taken to the Charles County Landfill at 12305 Billingsley Road East, Monday-Saturday 7 a.m-5 p.m.
