Local author A.C. Crispin will be speaking at P.D. Brown Memorial Library on August 27th, at 7:00 P.M.  She'll be discussing writing and her latest fantasy novel. Ms. Crispin is a former Vice President of SFWA (Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America) and has been a full-time writer since 1984. In addition to speaking about the writing life and her works, she'll discuss writing as a profession, including tips for aspiring authors on how to write, find markets to submit to, and avoid writing scams while seeking an agent/publisher.  A Q&A session will follow her talk.
